Experience one of Europe’s most famous natural wonders with our Samaria Gorge Hiking Tour.
Your journey begins early in the morning with a comfortable pickup from your hotel, followed by a scenic drive through the majestic White Mountains.
Upon arrival at the entrance of Samaria Gorge, located in the National Park, your hiking adventure begins. The gorge stretches for approximately 16 km, offering breathtaking landscapes, towering cliffs, and untouched nature.
As you walk through the gorge, you will pass forests, rivers, wooden bridges, and the famous narrow passage known as the “Iron Gates”, where the cliffs rise dramatically on both sides.
Along the way, you may encounter the rare Kri-Kri goats, native to Crete, making the experience even more unique.
The hike ends at the coastal village of Agia Roumeli, where you can relax, swim in the Libyan Sea, and enjoy a well-deserved meal at a seaside taverna.
From there, we take a boat to Sfakia, where your transfer will be waiting to take you back comfortably to your accommodation.
